Thomas Jennings, As for my point of view, RTDs are the most accurate, but they require longer time to respond to temperature change, in the longer run, RTDs give more accurate temps. Thermocouple can be no problem also, only if you know how to handle them, they require non linear corrections, zero temp nulling corrections and electrical isolation problems.
