You mentioned use of near IR for determination of residual moisture in this Month's Insight but did not know of any literature references. Patrick DeLuca et al. published a paper on this in Pharmaceutical Research, vol. 6, No. 11, 1989 Near-Infrared Spectrocopic Determination of Residual Moisture in Lyophilized Sucrose Through Intact Glass Vials.
