INSIGHT - Comments Vol. 2 No. 4 The Core to a Lyophilization Problem The only recollection of have of closure concern was in the 1960s. There were discussions at a few PDA meeting about coring and possible problems with injections. Since the Parenteral field is all about injectables this is where the concern should be. I recall that both West and Faultless were at the meeting and said they would institute a study to determine the extent of the problem. But then I don't recall any papers being given on the subject after this initial discussion. I suggest that the rubber companies be contacted for any information they may have on the subject. Mr. Thompson has been a member of PDA since 1960 and actively involved with Freeze-Drying for 45 years. [ Phase Home Page] [INSIGHT-Comments] [INSIGHT-Journal] |
